Defaults

You can configure default values for several fields used in Content and Area pages, as well as Property pages.

The defaults section controls the default information included in the Area Title, Area Keywords, Area Description, Property Title, Property Keywords and Property Description on area pages and property landing pages. Each page will use the default information if these fields are left blank.

To overwrite the defaults for an individual page, you can just fill out that field in the backend for an individual page. Below is one of the Area pages for our site. Because Title, Meta Description and Meta keywords is blank, it will use our defaults. If text is typed in, it will override your defaults.

Since details cannot be edited for individual property pages, this is also the only way to change that information.

Here is a list of the fields that are available for editing:

Area Title Default:

This will change the default title for area pages. Title determines what text is displayed in the tab.

Area Keywords Default:

This will change the default Meta Keywords used for each area page. Meta keywords are single words used to describe what the page is about.

Area Description Default:

This will change the default Meta Description used for each area page. Meta description is a short sentence that also describes what the page is about. This is shown as a description for the site under search browser results.

Property Title Default:

This will change the default Title used for each property page. Title determines what text is displayed in the tab.

Property Keywords Default:

This will change the default Meta Keywords used for each property page. Meta keywords are single words used to describe what the page is about.

Property Description Default:

This will change the default Meta Keywords used for each property page. Meta description is a short sentence that also describes what the page is about. This is shown as a description for the site under search browser results.
