Incoming Leads using Zapier

Using Zapier you can connect your Lead Manager with many other lead sources.

Here is now it works: https://zapier.com/how-it-works/

Once you have an account in Zapier you'll create a Zap, which consists of a Trigger (where leads come from) and an Action (where leads will go to). We have a Real Geeks Action inside Zapier that will sends leads into your Lead Manager.

First access the link bellow, since our app is in beta you need an invite to enable it for your account:

https://zapier.com/developer/invite/25551/120b2fc67dafd50dd9f82d60d1eff780/

Creating a Zap

Go to your Zapier Dashboard and click Make a new Zap

Zapier has Triggers and Actions, for this example I'm receiving leads by email using their Email Parser, so the Email Parser New Email is my Trigger and Real Geeks Create Leads is my Action

The following step will ask you to connect with the system used as Trigger, since I'm using the Zapier Email Parser it will ask for my zapier account. This step will vary depending on the Trigger you select.

Now you'll configure the Action, which is Real Geeks. First click Connect a Real Geeks account

The popup will ask for a name to identify this account, could be any name

And will also ask for the Real Geeks Zapier Code, click here to get the code for your site

Now click Continue and your account should be connected and working

This next step is a filter your Trigger will apply for every message it receives, in my example the available filters of Email Parser Trigger are mailboxes. You could have multiple email addresses configured in your Email Parser, here I select which mailbox will receive new leads. This step also varies based on which Trigger you're using.

This is a very important step. Triggers will expose multiple fields and we need to match them to the fields exposed by Real Geeks.

Here is how it will look like after the fields are matched

Zapier offers a way to test and make sure the integration is working

It will load some samples from your Trigger, which in my case are emails received by the Email Parser, and let you send one of them to Real Geeks. Then you can look at your Lead Manager and make sure the lead was created.

And now you're done! Just give a nem to your new Zap and wait for leads to come in

Configure Lead Manager Round Robin

On the Lead Manager there is a round robin for leads you receive via services outside of Real Geeks, and this includes Zapier.

  1. Log in to Lead Manager
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on Lead Assignment
  4. Select the tab Third Party Sources
  5. Configure the Round Robin, making agents available and assigning weights
  6. Click save
